Isleworth — Two-Tone Custom Refinish
Windermere’s Trusted Cabinet Refinishing Experts
Windermere homeowners take pride in their properties, and the details inside a home matter just as much as the curb appeal outside. If your kitchen or bathroom cabinets are looking worn, outdated, or out of step with today’s design trends, Resurrect Wood Refinishing is the Central Florida team you can trust to bring them back to life. We serve Windermere and the surrounding communities with professional cabinet refinishing, stain refresh, new cabinet doors, and restore-to-original-wood services — all at a fraction of the cost of replacement. One of our favorite Windermere projects came from a homeowner near the Tibet-Butler Nature Preserve, just behind Disney. She came to us with beautiful solid wood cabinets in a dark cherry finish that had run its course — the kind of rich, reddish-brown tone that was everywhere ten years ago but felt heavy and dated in her kitchen. She had almost settled on white, which would have been a safe choice, but during our consultation she mentioned that her real dream was Sherwin Williams Rosemary — a deep, sophisticated forest green. We encouraged her to trust that instinct. She took the leap, and the result was stunning. The Rosemary green against her white quartz countertops and brass hardware transformed the kitchen into something that felt genuinely custom and completely her own. She was over the moon with the finished result — and so were we.

This Isleworth project is one of the most comprehensive transformations we’ve completed in Windermere. The home featured a large, architecturally detailed kitchen with a custom arched hood range that had been finished in a terracotta tone — bold at the time, but ready for something more refined. Working alongside the homeowner’s interior designer, we executed a two-tone treatment that became the visual centerpiece of the kitchen: Sherwin Williams Pure White on the main cabinetry, and Sherwin Williams Hale Navy on the hood range and island. The contrast between the two — anchored by the home’s new marble countertops and brass hardware — created exactly the sophisticated, high-end result the designer had envisioned.
Why Windermere Homeowners Choose Refinishing Over Replacement
Replacing cabinetry in a Windermere home is a significant investment. Between custom materials, demolition, and installation, a full kitchen cabinet replacement can easily reach $20,000 to $50,000 or more. Resurrect Wood Refinishing gives you a stunning, high-quality alternative for roughly one-third of that cost. We work with your existing cabinet structure — which is often solid, well-built wood — and transform the surfaces with professional-grade finishes that look and last like new.
Our Windermere clients choose us because we deliver results that mass-produced replacement cabinets simply can’t match. Every project is custom, every finish is applied by hand by our own skilled team, and every detail is reviewed before we consider a job complete.
Our Cabinet Refinishing Services in Windermere
Cabinet Refinishing A full refinish strips your cabinets down to bare wood, repairs any surface damage, and applies a new finish using professional-grade products. The result is a smooth, durable, factory-quality surface in the color or stain of your choice.
Refinish to Original Wood Many Windermere homes were built with beautiful solid wood cabinetry that has been painted or stained over the years. Our restore-to-original-wood service removes those layers and brings the natural grain back to the surface, then pairs it with a modern stain refresh for a look that is both timeless and current.
Stain Refresh Natural wood tones — including natural oak — are one of today’s hottest kitchen trends. A stain refresh updates your existing wood cabinets with a new tone that fits modern aesthetics without requiring a full replacement.
New Cabinet Doors If your cabinet boxes are structurally sound but your doors are dated or damaged, new cabinet doors are a targeted solution that delivers dramatic visual impact. We match new doors to your refinished boxes for a seamless, cohesive result.
Solid Color Cabinet Refinishing For Windermere homeowners who want a bold, clean color transformation — from crisp white and soft grey to deep navy or matte black — our solid color refinishing delivers a factory-smooth finish that outlasts standard paint by years.
Custom Glazing & Faux Grain For homeowners who want something truly unique, our custom glazing and faux grain services add depth, character, and artistry to any cabinet surface.
The Resurrect Difference
Resurrect Wood Refinishing is a locally owned Central Florida business — not a franchise that subcontracts to the lowest bidder. Our owner brings a Fine Arts background to every project, with an eye for color and finish quality that goes beyond what a standard painting contractor offers. We handle every project ourselves, from preparation through final inspection, and we don’t leave until the result is something we’re proud to put our name on.
What we find working in Windermere is that homeowners here are ready to invest in quality — they just sometimes need a trusted partner to help them commit to the vision they already have. The Rosemary green project near Tibet-Butler is a perfect example. That homeowner knew what she wanted. She just needed the confidence to go for it. That’s a big part of what we do — we don’t just refinish cabinets, we help homeowners make decisions they’ll be proud of for years.
